Heather Robinson was my guest in July on the podcast to talk about planning for success, but I felt the need to invite her again because 2019 has been the year of regular planning for me and I know the kind of transformation that it has brought to my life in terms of head space, calm and focus and I want my audience to understand what an awesome process it can be and how much fun too.
I took Heather through a series of questions:
- Where do you start?
- What if you are in start up mode?
- Is there a different way to plan in start up or in a more mature business?
- Can you plan without having a clear vision?
- Does planning restrict creativity?
- What are the three stages of planning?
- What do you say to people who tell you they don’t have time to plan?
It has been an awesome conversation. I mentioned in it the planner that I use, from Freedom Mastery which you can purchase online on Amazon or at www.freedommastery.com. It is a diary that has no date in it so you can start wherever you are. I love that. It has Statements, an index, a law of attraction roadmap, a mission statement and more. For each week, you can set your priorities for the week, and for each day. You have a tracking grid for positive habits you want to establish. Then you have two pages per month where you can reflect on the month. What did you learn, what were your blocks, how did you make yourself feel good… and more. It’s incredibly comprehensive and an amazing tool.
A client once said to me she didn’t start using it because it felt overwhelming. Please do. Start small. Even if you use it only as a regular diary, you will find inspiration from writing in it. If you would like to find out more about Heather Robinson, please hop over to her page called Get Accomplished with Heather, on Facebook.
Thank you for reading. Have a great day.
